The Role:
- We are looking for an enthusiastic and capable Finance Manager to support the Finance, Risk, Treasury and Operations Functions of our growing business. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), the main responsibilities will be quarterly reporting, management accounts, financial accounts, bookkeeping, office management and property management support. However, we are growing rapidly and so will your responsibilities, so this is by no means an exhaustive list.
Finance Manager Job Duties:
- Produce monthly, quarterly and annual management accounts and investor reports
- Assist in the production of quarterly board meeting papers
- Manage and maintain quarterly cash flow forecasts
- Review, analyse, and record monthly income and expenditure reports
- Optimise processes for accounting systems, payroll, FinTraC and invoicing
- Responsible for HMRC filings, including CS01, VAT, payroll and accounts
- Responsible for Irish Revenue filings including LPT and tax returns
- Support the CFO in the creation of investor distribution statements
- Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported
- Oversee invoicing, accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Support corporate finance with deal structuring and debt finance activity
- Prepare the draft year-end financial accounts and filings for multiple entities
- Provide ad hoc financial management support as required
- Examine all financial reports and data closely to check for discrepancies
- Create systems to prevent errors in data collection and calculations
- Manage employee expenses and corporate card activity
- Provide ad hoc office management and property management support as required
Finance Manager Skills and Qualifications:
An interest in real estate; accounting qualification (or part-qualified); experience in a business or finance environment; real estate experience (preferable); bookkeeping experience; common sense; interpersonal skills; honesty; integrity; reliability; solid written and verbal communication skills; high attention to detail; organisational skills; critical thinking and problem-solving skills; research skills; analytical skills; computer skills, including Sage accounting software.
